A Still Life

I remember my art teacher when I was 12 years old who taught me the principles of creating a still life drawing or painting. I learned that in art I could capture time and not let it pass, but keep it as a secret keepsake in this treasure chest of life. Thank you to My First Love; My Lord and Savior. For it is He who gives and creates, teaching us through this journey. I am forever grateful to see His extraordinary glory in every ordinary moment.

"...be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth" Psalm 46:10

Vintage Pink Santa ~ handcrafted shabby cottage

This Santa is SOLD! Please check back during the Holidays for more one of a kind designs from PatricePastel
Every year I have an affinity for vintage Santas/Snowman. This 11" Pink Santa is the first for this season. If you are interested in him just email me.  I use vintage materials mixed with some new. He has been texturized with a sand finish and oh so many embellishments added :) I added sparkles on his beard, cuffs, hat, scarf, holly and lantern. He holds a snow covered evergreen bough with pink berries, vintage pearls and pinecones. NINE ROSES decorate him for the shabby cottage girl...and a jingle bell at the top. You will love him.
